At BIMORA, our family-run jewellery studio in Sofia, we create bespoke engagement rings in gold and platinum,
set with diamonds and other precious gemstones.
Every ring begins with a personal consultation. Together,
we explore your preferences and refine the design,
considering the shape, metal, gemstone, proportions and
how the ring will look and sit on your finger.
We prepare a 3D visualisation so you can see and approve
the design before your ring is made in our studio in Sofia.
From Your Idea
to the Final Design
Your engagement ring does not have to begin with an existing design. We can start with your own sketch, a reference photograph
or simply a description of what you have in mind.
When developing the design, we consider more than the overall shape. We work out the precise proportions – the width and profile
of the band, the height of the stone, the type of setting and how
the different elements come together.
We also consider how the ring will feel when worn. A design
should not only look beautiful in a 3D visualisation but also
be comfortable for everyday wear.
Gold or Platinum –
What Determines
the Price?
We craft custom engagement rings in 14K and 18K white, yellow and rose gold, as well as platinum.
The choice of metal affects the ring's appearance, weight and price.
14K gold is generally harder and offers a practical option for
everyday wear.
18K gold contains a higher proportion of pure gold, giving yellow gold
a richer, more saturated colour.
Platinum is naturally white and retains its colour over time without
the need for rhodium plating. It is denser and heavier than gold, making it an appealing choice for those who prefer a white metal without
an additional coating.
The final price depends on the metal, the gemstone's size and characteristics, and the complexity of making the ring.
Once we have discussed your preferences, we will prepare a personalised quotation based on your chosen design and budget.
Choosing Your Diamond
When choosing a diamond for an engagement ring, size is only one part of the decision. Its shape, proportions and setting all influence how the stone looks on your finger and how it complements the rest
of the ring.
Colour, clarity and cut quality are equally important. These characteristics affect the diamond's appearance, brilliance and price.
We will help you find the right balance between these factors,
your preferred design and your budget.
Round Brilliant, Princess, Emerald, Oval, Pear, Marquise or Heart – each diamond shape has its own proportions and way of reflecting light. Some are known for their exceptional sparkle, while others
offer clean lines and a more geometric appearance.

The usual production time is approximately three weeks after the design has been approved.
Your order is confirmed with a 50% advance payment.
